  • Summer Basketball Camp information will be posted here. CMRC does not officially endorse any camp, we are just providing the information. Please check back often as we will update with new camps as the information is provided to us.

  • For a number of years, many CMRC basketball players have attended one of the local sessions of the 5-star basketball camp. Last year over 30 CMRC kids attended. As a result of our strong showing, 5-star offers CMRC basketball participants a group discount. The regular fee for 5-star is $250 per week, but all CMRC campers will pay $175 per session. There will be 4 sessions for boys and 1 session for girls at Boy's Latin on the following dates: June 23-27 (boys), July 7-11 (boys), July 28-Aug 1(boys), Aug 4-8 (boys), Aug 4-8 (girls).     In order to be eligible for the 5-star camp discounted rate... you must submit all checks and applications to Dave Barnes (contact Dave_barnes@ml.com). In addition, the deadline for the discounted rate is May 16th. If you have any questions, please contact Dave Barnes (Dave_barnes@ml.com).

  • Information on the Calvert Hall College HS Cardinal Hoops Camp held at Calvert Hall is now available on their website. Mutiple sessions are available (June 23-27, July 14-18). The camp is open to boys and girls from ages 8 to 15. It runs daily from 9AM - 2PM and offers instruction from some of the top coaches in the area. Note that special small group and one-on-one instruction are also available. See their website for details.

  • Information on the Loyola Basketball Camp this summer at Loyola Blakefield School in Towson: we have 2 weeks of camp (week of July 7th, and July 14th) this summer and the camp day runs from 9-4. Each day will include games, contests, and individual/ team skill development. All ages are welcome. See their website.

IMPORTANT FACILITY RULES
  • Please read and help us enforce these important rules for the safety of the participants and to help us ensure our continued usage of the gyms for the basketball program!

    SJA Gym

    1. Food, water, gum, or drinks of any kind are NOT allowed inside the gym. All water bottles, etc. should be placed in the entrance area (near the bathrooms & water fountains). There are no exceptions to this policy.

    2. During a game, ONLY those currently playing are allowed on the courts. This includes pre-game warm-ups, timeouts and halftime.

    3. Basketballs (other than the ball being used for gameplay) should be placed and kept on the ballracks during a game.

    4. All spectators, siblings, etc. need to remain in the area of the gym, not in the hallways, etc.

    5. NO wheeled shoes/"Heelys" allowed on the gym floor.

    Jacksonville Gym

    1. For weekday games, the gym will open at 6:02 PM. This new time will allow the staff to clear the play center, and safely open the gate. The gym door will remain locked until that stated time. The first game will being at 6:15PM. It is imperative that only those participating in the game are allowed on the floor to warmup. This will allow us to start the first game at that designated time.

    2. All participants MUST enter through the gym door and NOT the front entrance.
