Periodically I receive e-mails advertising Summer Camps and I receive e-mails from parents asking if I know of any Summer Camps. The list below is what I know and it will be updated as I receive info.
McDonough School Summer Camps. There are a variety of camps offered through the school - one week, multiple weeks, various age and skill levels, transportation and lunch options. See flyer for details
Al Bumbry Summer Camp at Hydes. This camp runs through CMRC and Jerry Tana. This camp has been around for many years and is positively reviewed by many CMRC participants. Carrollmanor.org has information.
Diamond Pros Baseball facility is in Glen Arm. They have indoor and outdoor/turf facilities. Their winter camps are well run. The kids love seeing themselves on TV during video anaylsis of batting and pitching. http://us6.campaign-archive1.com/?u=76321302601e777a39eab8e82&id=e93871fc4f&e=6384e30e1e is the link or DiamondPros@msn.com for questions.

Just to make things clear for safety reasons, the following is Baltimore County Recreation and Parks Lightning Policy. To keep everyone safe, parents, players and spectators must comply with the a Recreation Department Staff member, umpire, age group commissioner or coach requests as directed.
The Lightning Policy
Upon the first sound of thunder or sighting of lightning, Department staff will direct all in attendance to immediately go to their cars or enter a building, if possible. No one will be allowed to return to the field until 30 minutes after the last sound of thunder and sighting of lightning. Staff will have complete authority on any decisions made at our facilities. In the absence of Department staff, volunteer coaches, and officials should follow the same procedure.
