2008-2009 CMRC Dance Program
Holiday
and Inclement Weather Policy
Question: When
Baltimore County schools are closed for a holiday or professional day do we
dance?
Answer: Maybe
If schools are closed for a National
Holiday or no custodian staff will be present like on Yom Kippur and Rosh
Hashanah and Election Day we do not have class.
Professional days, ½ days, are not national holidays so we will have
class. Schools are not closed for
Columbus Day or Veterans’ Day so we will dance.
Halloween is not a national holiday but we will not have class on that Wednesday to allow all our little ghouls and goblins to enjoy the Halloween festivities.
Question: If Baltimore County Schools (+ Hereford
Zone) are closed because of inclement weather do we dance?
Answer: No
But if schools are open but the
conditions are getting worse, please stay tuned to WBAL radio or www.thewbalchannel.com and listen for
Baltimore County Parks and Rec. If the
after school activities are closing then we do not have class. If the closing announcement is made after
2:00pm then we will make every effort to have a teacher present to supervise
your child until you can pick them up. IF THE HEREFORD
SCHOOL ZONE IS CLOSED WE WILL NOT DANCE!
Question: If Baltimore County Schools open 1 or 2
hours late due to inclement weather do we dance?
Answer: Yes. The 12:00 classes will run on time as will
the afternoon classes
Question: If my daughter dances on Saturday how
will I know if there is class?
Answer: You
may call 410-887-1840 for recording on Saturday mornings. If a snow emergency plan is in effect for
Baltimore County we do not dance.
